Training History Context 8 consecutive days of a daily 6-minute Split Snatch neural primer. This work has been technique-only (PVC or empty bar), with no heavy loading and no fatigue intent. The focus of this daily work has been on: improving timing and sequencing delaying the split until after full extension reinforcing a vertical bar path eliminating early legs and early split developing a fast, automatic, but calm split increasing confidence staying tall and patient under the bar The daily primer consisted of: Tall split snatch with no dip (bar-up >> feet-last timing) High-hang split snatch (upper-thigh start, full extension before split) Floating power snatch >> split snatch complex (emphasis on bar float) Slow first pull to knee, fast to hip, pause in power position >> split snatch Split drop speed drills (no dip, vertical drop) Overhead split balance holds (stacked, stable overhead position) All work was performed with PVC or empty bar, prioritising precision, consistency, and neural adaptation rather than intensity or fatigue. On Day 9, a Clean & Jerk evaluation session was performed to assess transfer to the jerk. This consisted of a general warm-up followed by several singles, ending with two singles at 40 kg. Results were very positive: the jerk action was noticeably more stable overall lift execution felt calmer and more controlled balance and confidence in the split position were improved compared to previous sessions tomorrow (on Day 10) I am going to test my snatch with some snatch singles also up to 40k
